Djarum Gold can do this to you. Vanilla never tasted so plain. As you take the first drag you expect this sweet taste, at least on your lips, but I got nothing. It wasn't just me, as my two friends and I took a cigarette, we felt nothing. The reviews I have heard about say that if you're a
"hardcore" smoker then that's the effect, but that shouldn't be so. It was eight dollars down the drain, that could have gone to better cigarettes like Camel No.9, Camel Crush, or Djarum Black. The cigarettes should have more flavor and should not limit the taste to people who don't smoke that much but It was just a disappointment to myself and company. I'm still looking forward to trying other cigarettes but I won't put such high standards to them.

ReplyDeleteI am assuming that djarum released Gold as a response to the FdA's ban on flavored cigarettes. As a rabid djarum vanilla smoker, I was almost immediately disappointed with the lack of vanilla flavor that the Golds encompassed. If you can get your hands on real djarum vanillas, they are much better than the golds.
